This February, the Multicultural Health Institute recognizes American Heart Month, a time when everyone can pay attention to their cardiovascular health. Incidences/Cases of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and CVD mortality are on the rise in working-age adults, and Black adults bear the heaviest burden of CVD and its health consequences, particularly in the United States.
