Lung
Did you know that particle pollution could be affecting your lung health? Particle pollution is when tiny particles of dust, soot, or even some liquids are in the air that we breathe. The negative effects of this could lead to trouble breathing, irritated lungs, or even lung cancer. For example, the second leading cause of Lung cancer is Radon, often unknown but present in people's homes.
Did you know that asthma affects people of all ages? Asthma is when the airways in your lungs produce an excess amount of mucus and become irritated and inflamed causing them to narrow your airways. Symptoms of asthma include constant coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness. Asthma can be diagnosed at any age and even though it’s a chronic illness, it can be treated.
